About Me

I am a licensed Marital and Family Therapist; I obtained my Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from the University of San Francisco. I have over 15 years of experience in working with clients in a variety of settings, including inpatient psychiatric, crisis intervention, specialty behavioral health court, in-home therapy, residential treatment for adolescents, group therapy and outpatient services. I have worked with adults, adolescents, families, and couples. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) for assisting clients in addressing trauma. I am a Clinical Fellow member and Approved Supervisor of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy.

I have had the opportunity to live in various regions of the United States which has provided exposure to many diverse populations and cultures. I decided to settle in Mountain City about 5 years ago; it is beautiful here, and I am proud to call it my home. I believe in the value of all people and their ability to create a fulfilling life for themselves, despite their circumstances and past traumatic events.
